Important — read before use
This Risk Disclaimer is an integral part of the Terms of Service. By using the Meridian Onchain service and purchasing its products, you confirm that you have read and understood the risks set out below.
1. Trading involves high risk
Trading on currency (Forex), cryptocurrency, and other financial markets involves a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. You may lose part or all of your invested funds. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
2. Past results do not guarantee future results
The service searches and tests strategies on historical data. Results shown on history (including high returns) reflect the strategy's past behavior and are not a guarantee of similar results in the future.
Markets change constantly. A strategy profitable on historical data may produce losses in real conditions. This applies to any strategy, including those showing high returns in testing.
3. Curve-fitting (over-optimization)
Some products honestly show strategies with maximum returns on history — this is fitting to the past (over-optimization). We openly warn: such strategies typically perform worse on new data, up to and including losses. High historical returns are a starting point for study, not a ready-made profitable solution.
4. The service is not investment advice
Meridian Onchain is a software analytical tool. We do not provide investment or financial advice; do not manage your funds; do not guarantee profit; do not recommend specific trading decisions.
All decisions to use the received strategies and advisors are made by you independently, and you bear full responsibility for them.
5. Always test on a demo account
Before using any received advisor on a live account, we strongly recommend testing it on a demo account. This helps you understand the strategy's behavior without risking real funds.
6. Real costs
Test results are calculated including costs (spread, commission, swap) based on model values. Your broker's real costs may differ, which will affect the actual result.
7. Liability
The Meridian Onchain project is not liable for any financial losses, direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the service, the received strategies, or advisors. By using the service, you accept all risks associated with trading.
